AT Lake Anza in Tilden Regional Park, Berkeley, CA. One of my earliest memories is of my dad bringing us to Tilden when I was probably 3 or 4 years of age. Perhaps it was late spring. I vividly remember it was morning, and the shore of Lake Anza was covered with thousands (at least in my memory it seems there were thousands) of jumping, crawling, dusky baby frogs (or where they toads?). Perhaps this explains my lifelong fascination with Anuras, and other amphibians.
